Small Town Girls Crop

Small Town Girls Crop
Your Small Town Girls have decided to host a crop!!! This will be a simple get-together-and-crop-for-fun kind of thing! This is gonna replace the Classes we were going to do. Time and life got in the way, but don't fret, we are cooking up something great for fall when all the craziness of summer is over!

So......
No classes, no make & takes, no frills - just hanging out, cropping, eating and talking.

We have a small hall reservered for us on Saturday, June 28th all day - starting at 10am and lasting until the last scrapper falls :-)

The hall is located on Highway 61 about 3 miles north of Fruitland - a big Red Barn (don't worry - it's been remodeled!) on the right side of the highway.

The cost per peson will depend on how many show up - the building is $40 per day and we are just going to ask for a small donation to cover that cost.

Food and drinks will be pot-luck and bring your own. Bring snacks and stuff to share and your own drinks (or drinks to share...LOL!).

That's it! Nothing fancy...cheap and fun...We just want to get a bunch of us together to crop and hang out!

The retreat STG's were going to participate in this friday night has been cancedled as far as I know for now.

Retreat Date!

Ok just a quick note that we will be joining April, Chrystal, and Christina at their retreat on Friday March 28th from 6pm til 10pm (or it might be 11, i can't remember!)at La Croix Methodist Church in Cape. The church is on lexington just after you get off Kingshighway. April says it is a nice BIG space! i have no sepicfics yet as to projects for everyone, but know we are working quickly to get that info going. I will have my projects at Stamps and Scrapbooks Friday and Saturday if you would like to see them in real life. i will be doing the two layouts on the previous post. Penne will be doing some cards using that same line of paper. i'm not sure what Angelia will be doing yet. and as for April, Chrystal and Christina, theirs are sure to awesome as usual. Also, April says the Boutique is coming right along! as far as i know right now they are going to be carrying bazzill and some other cool manufactures. It will be cool!!!

also the Small Town Girl Adventure webstore should be up and going soon. i ordered the software for the designing of the website. and i put my first order in for Pink Paislee. it is so cool!!! they have a cool website too. if you'd like to check it out, here is the link. http://livepink.ning.com/

Been Busy!

Well i've been busy the last couple weeks. I now have my license's i need to start a online store. I'm not sure about county taxes, gotta still check into that. i do have what i need to start ording from some companies. i have sooooo much i want to order. I still have to construct a web site and haven't decided which way i want to go. decisions, decisions. We are still working on a retreat. i do have have a couple projects going. i haven't decide how to do the class. i have 2 layouts done and i'm working on a project using the same line of paper. so, tell me what ya think. i still have another 2 page layout i want to do and finish my chipboard laced card project. but let me know the truth what you think. this line of paper is from cosmo cricket and is called hey sugar. i love cosmo cricket and their new releases are awesome also.

Anyone There?

lol. well, just wanted to keep anyone who might be out there in the loop! i have been busy tring to figure out where we can continue our small town girls retreat's. we're still checking and i do plan on continuing them. The big thing is where to have them now that Stamps and Scrapbooks will be closing. I have checked several places and the rental fee is not cheap. i have a few other possiblities that i am checking out. i am hoping to have something in March. i already have my supplies and am gonna start working on the sample. i need to get the other girls moving also, which isn't hard! we all enjoy these retreats and seeing all of you! i will tell ya my projects will be using the cosmo cricket Sugar line. I love it!!!! I hope everyone is doing good and getting stocked up on their supplies from Stamps and Scrapbooks. Have a great day! cynde

Happy New Year!

It has been a long time! I hope everyone had a awesome Christmas and is starting the New Year out on a good note! The Small Town Girls Retreat was orginally gonna be in February, but since the regular retreat is this month, we will hold off for a month or so. I'm not sure when we will be able to sneak it in with ckc in st louis in april and i will be busy with my daughters wedding that is in June. what to do, what to do. i'm thinking maybe middle march. i will have to see what the other girls would like to do. I just wanted to let ya know we are gonna do one, just not in february! will let ya know soon! cynde
